DAVIS ‹ Services for Mary Fay Crossett Brown will be 11 a.m. Monday at Fox Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jack Oliver and the Rev. Randy Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Brown died Feb. 18, 1999, in Ada. She was born Oct. 9, 1908, in Davis to Fay L. and Ivy Fonville Crossett.

Mary Fay grew up in Davis and lived there until 1994 when she moved to the Ada Baptist Retirement Home. She was a graduate of Davis High School and received a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education from Oklahoma University. She taught at Davis Elementary School for 30 years and retired in 1974. She was an accomplished musician on the piano and organ. She played for the First Christian Church of Davis for more than 50 years, as well as for many other local musical events.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Harry G. Crossett.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Luella Woods Crossett, Atlanta; two nieces, Linda Crossett Denton, Atlanta, and Mary Lu Watson, Windsor, Colo.; two great-nephews, Jeff L. Watson, Albuquerque, N.M., and Matthew G. Watson, Fort Collins, Colo.; and two great-great-nephews, Nathanael and Lucas Watson of Albuquerque.

The following are buried together in a family plot:
