YORK Harry F. Marsh, 80, died Thursday, January 3, 2008, at 1 a.m. at York Hospital. He was the husband of Miriam M. (Wilhelm) Marsh with whom he celebrated their 29th wedding an niversary on December 9, 2007. A viewing will be on Monday, January 7, 2008, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at WorkingerSemmel F.H. & Crematorium, Inc., 849 E. Market St., York, with the service to follow at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Dr. E. Gordon Ross, retired Lutheran pastor. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery with military rites by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Marsh was born April 7, 1927, in Wilkes-Barre, and was the son of the late Harry F., Sr. and Esther (Jolly) Marsh. He was a retired spray painter with the former Lyon Metal Co. for 32 years and a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He was a member of Pleasureville American Legion Post #799, the Victory A.A., and a life member of the Twelfth Ward Independent Democratic Club. Mr. Marsh is survived by his wife; two daughters, Sandy Eberly and Wendy S. Lau, both of York; a son, Kenneth J. Marsh of York; five grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and two brothers, Robert Marsh of York and Norman Marsh of Wilkes-Barre. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Marsh.
