In her later years, she volunteered at the Ross Ragland Theater and Treasures Gift Store.
Juanita was a Klamath County health nurse, a Klamath Hospice administrative nurse, and a member of various boards in Oregon, including the Oregon Health Board. She was also a past president of the Oregon Diabetes Association, a lifelong member of American Association of University Women, serving in leadership roles, and a member of Living Faith Fellowship.
She was preceded in death by her parents, H.V. and Hazel Johnson; three brothers, Harold, Gerald and Ralph Johnson; her husband, John Hodges Sr.; and two great-granddaughters.
Survivors include her brother, Arthur (Anita) Johnson; three sisters-in-law, Betty Johnson, Barbara Curtis and Anne Johnson; her children, Dorothy (Wayne) Woodworth, Margaret (Celas) Hug, James Bailey and Jean Hodges; her step-children, William Hodges, John (Robin) Hodges II, Valerie (Mike) Cullers and Charles Hodges; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
The time, date and location of a memorial service will be announced.
