Funeral services for Elmer James Richmond, 51, of Walnut Grove, MS; were held Sunday, July 15, 1984, at the Truelight M. B. Church.

Survivors include wife, Fannie Grace Richmond; mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Richmond, Sr.; children, Diane Strong of Forest, MS; Pamela Gill, Kenneth Richmond, and Felix Richmond, all of Walnut Grove, MS; Anthony Richmond of Jackson, MS; and Teresia Leflore of Miami, FL; sister, Grace Steve of Walnut Grove, MS; three brothers, Rudolph Richmond and Perry Richmond of Flint, MI; and Melvin Richmond, Jr., of Detroit, MI; three grandchildren; two sons-in-law; and one daughter-in-law.

Interment in Truelight Cemetery.
Rev. D. L. Wash officiating.
John Franklin was the musician.
Honorary pallbearers were friends.
Active pallbearers were members of the M. W. Stringer Grand Lodge F and A.M.
of Mississippi Prince Hall Affiliation, Walnut Grove Lodge NO. 410, where Richmond was a member.
The Masonic Lodge was in charge of graveside services.
