Linda Kay Harper, 73, Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born November 4, 1948, in Princeton, Indiana, to Mylian E. and Helen (Finn) Anthis. Linda is the youngest of ten kids.

She was a 1967 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School. Later in life, she attended Wabash Valley College earning an Associate in Business with honors. She worked various jobs throughout her life, but being a wife, mom, nana/grandma were her favorites.

On December 23, 1967, she married George Harper at Pentecostal Assembly of God by Rev. James Eastman. Together they shared fifty-four years of marriage. Linda loved the Lord and her family. In her spare time, she liked to cook, experiment with new recipes, enjoyed candy making, shopping, and spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, several siblings, grandchild, Sadie Mae Ahlfield Harper, and great-grandchild Ryne Kieffer.

A Graveside Service for Linda will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Mt. Carmel, Illinois.
