"Former resident of the Milam Building in Claremore, Stella Isabel Sportsman Adair died recently in Tulsa, Oklahoma.She was 73. She was residing in Mannford at the time of her death.

Services were held at Ridge Drive Baptist Church of Sand Springs, where she was a member.Burial followed at Woodland Cemetery, under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service.

The daughter of Isaac and Minerva Jane Stewart King was born April 23, 1921, in Elsey, Mo.She was a housewife.

Survivors are her husband, Enoch Adair, of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Howard Powers of Sand Springs; sons and daughters-in law, Billy and Edith Summerlin and Andy and Beverly Summerlin, all of Sand Springs; sisters, Agnes Denney of Claremore and Doris Yingst of Tulsa; brother, Austin King of Claremore; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
