Nellie E. (Peckham) Smail, 95, of Manor Care in Barberton, passed away on Thursday evening, April 16, after a long illness.
Born in Holmes County, Ohio, a daughter of Charles and Etta (Way) Peckham. Mrs. Smail lived most of her life in Summit County. She was a member of Lakeview Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ora C. Smail. She is survived by a daughter, Eileen Frankland of Canton; sons, Roy Everett Smail in Sebring, FL, and Lloyd Willis Smail in Akron; four grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Reisicsar of Tyler Texas.
Services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow there.
