Pfc Trammell was a member of C Company, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. The 508th jumped into Normandy at approx. 0150 (1:50 AM) on D-Day (June 6th, 1944). Pfc Trammell was KIA two days later.
