Born in Woburn, April 2, 1910, Albert Marshall attended the Woburn Public Schools. Before he was called into military service he was employed by the D.L. Maher Company of Woburn. He entered the armed service in November, 1942. He received his basic training in San Francisco, California, and was later assigned to the Tank Corps of the Fourth Armored Division, at Camp Bowie, Texas [located in central Texas, 110 miles southwest of Fort Worth]. On July 13, 1943, while engaged in combat exercise, Marshall was accidentally killed. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Winifred Marshall...

The remains of Private Marshall were buried in a family plot at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn, Mass., on July 19, 1943.
