Rev. Billy James Morris, age 89 of Clarksville, TN went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, March 21, 2022.

Celebration of Life will be held 12 noon, on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Excell Baptist Church with Rev. Terrell Marcom, Rev. Richard Christian, and Rev. Wally Vinson officiating. Burial and Military Honors will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

Bill entered this life on June 25, 1932 in Evansville, IN to the late James Ivan Morris and Ruby White Morris. He devoted his life to the service of God through Christian music ministry at various Baptist churches. Bill served at First Baptist Church of Clarksville for over 22 years, Tokyo Baptist Church of Tokyo, Japan, and retired from Excell Baptist Church, after 20 years of service.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Margie Morris, and daughter, Melody Campbell.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Forderhase Morris; son, Rick (Alberta) Morris; Joy Kincaid, Carol (John) Weaver, Jamie (Richard) Christian; children by marriage, Alison (Joe) Petre, and Greg (Sharon) Forderhase, and brother, Glen Morris. Bill also leaves behind seventeen grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Family will serve as pallbearers.
