Geraldine was a lifelong resident of the area and loved helping people. She earned her Master's degree in nursing and worked as an OBGYN nurse practitioner for health departments in McCurtain, Pushmataha, Choctaw, and Latimer counties. Geraldine retired from nursing after 35 years of service to her community. She loved to work in her flower garden, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Geraldine loved the Lord and was always reading her Bible. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Geraldine is survived by son, Sean Garrison and wife Teresa of Fort Towson, OK; grandchildren, Seana Garrison and Gideon Caldwell of Speer, OK; great grandchildren, Dacelee Garrison and Pate Caldwell; brother, James John and wife Mary of California and Robert John and wife Edith of Idabel, OK; sister, Bobbie Scott and husband Donald of Idabel, OK along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
