Born, Melbourne. Daughter of the late Richard T. Tracy, Esq., M. D., the well-known eminent Physician and Surgeon, who was the founder of the Women's Hospital. Both Mrs. D'Ebro's parents were among the early pioneers, having arrived in Melbourne in August, 1851. Mother: Fanny Louisa Sibthorp.
Married Charles A. D'Ebro, Baron Et. Chevalier, the well-known civil engineer and architect, who designed and carried out many important buildings in Victoria and other States.
Only child, 'Essa' Ethel Prado D'Ebro, now Mrs. Arthur H. Barraclough.
ACTIVITIES. Always interested in Philanthropic work, as a girl taught in the Scotch Church Ragged Sunday School, and was one of the early members of the Melbourne Flower Mission to Hospitals. In 1902 was elected by the subscribers to the Women's Hospital, held the office of Hon. Secretary until 1912, during which period she took an active part in the management. One of the founders of the A. W. N. L., and did some strenuous work for that cause. With the late Mrs. Darnley Naylor founded the Time and Talents Society. One of the founders of, is interested in, and on the Council and Executive of the English Speaking Union. An original member of the Alexandra Club, Melbourne.
