Glen D. Riddle, 75, of Millsboro, passed away at his home Thursday, March 24, 2022.
Glen was born May 27, 1946, in Millsboro, son of the late David Riddle and the late Virginia (Huskins) Riddle. He graduated from Millsboro High School. Glen owned and operated Riddle's Garage for over 40 years and was also a hardworking farmer.
When Glen wasn't working, he enjoyed bird hunting and his trips with his friends and family to Nebraska, where they would pheasant and quail hunt. Glen also loved drag racing and thoroughly enjoyed the last several years watching his son race their Chevrolet COPO on the NHRA Circuit.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Harlene Riddle in 2017; and six siblings. Glen is survived by his daughter, Lori Niblett and her husband, Kenny of Millsboro; a son, Paul Riddle and his wife, Brooke of Millsboro; six grandchildren, Joshua Niblett of Milton, Justin Niblett, Tanner Niblett, Paul Riddle Jr., Keith Riddle and Savanna Baker, all of Millsboro; and seven great-grandchildren, Aden, Gunner, Jaelyn, Charlotte, Michael, Aubriella, and Jameson. Glen is also survived by a brother, Allen Riddle and his wife Joan of Millsboro; five sisters, Hazel Chason of Florida, Yvonne Parker, Vivian Clark, Linda Ludwig, and Cindy Riddle, all of Millsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, Thursday, March 31, at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher St., Frankford, where a funeral service will begin at noon. Interment will follow at Carey's Cemetery in Millsboro.
