"Rev. Billy D. Williams, 58, of Ozark, father of Hope Van Lauvan of Clarksville, died Thursday, June 7, 2001, at his home.

He was a native of Biscoe, son of the late Harvey Allen Williams, and a retired Pentecostal pastor of several area churches.

Survivors include his widow, Laurie Williams; two other daughters, Robbin Archer of Cabot and Gwen English of Altus; one stepdaughter, Terri Pullen of Ozark; two stepsons, David Pullen and Jonathan Pullen, both of Ozark; mother, Joyce Marie Hughes Williams; two sisters, Brenda Huntsinger Stacy of Ozark and Linda Flores of Waldron; one brother, Nick Williams of Ozark; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday, June 11, at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Arleta Sheffield and David Zeiler officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Rev. Joe Lancaster, Rev. Jim McElhaney, Rev. Lonnie Sheppard, Rev. Carl Sory, Rev. Larry Willis, and Rev. Billy Paul Roberts."
