Deloris Ann (Hall) Pendley age 75 of Orleans, formerly of Shoals, passed away March 26, 2022 in Orleans. She was born January 31, 1947 in Shoals, Indiana to Claude and Faye (Lewis) Hall. She married Frank Pendley and he preceded her in death January 13, 2011.
She was a graduate of Shoals High School Class of 1965. She worked at the French Lick Resort, Agans Market, and was a homemaker. She attended the Natchez Church. Deloris loved being grandma and her grandchildren were her world. She was known for her selflessness, always taking care of others before herself. She enjoyed talking to friends on her phone and doing crossword puzzles.
Surviving are her children, Terri (Terry) Jones of Orleans, Kelly (Allen) Hager of Shoals, and Josh Pendley of Orleans; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one step granddaughter, and four step great granddaughters; siblings, Karen (John) Grounds, Phylis (Jim) Goldsberry, Jackie (Jay) Cundiff, Bob (Tracey) Hall and Greg (Joyce) Hall.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Pendley; son, Eric Pendley; parents, Claude and Faye Hall; one sister, Janice Nelson and one brother, Claudie Dean Hall.
Funeral services are 1:00 PM Tuesday at the Queen-Lee Chapel in Shoals with Pastor John Moffitt officiating. Burial will be in the Anderson Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
