Alan David Moorehead, age 57, of Seymour, formerly of Michigan, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville.

Alan was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church and worked as a security officer at Dollywood.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Rosemary Moorehead; and sisters, Karen and Mimi.

Alan is survived by his wife, Chrystal Moorehead; sons, Jose, Jason, and Jonathan Delgado; daughters-in-law, Rachel and Michele; grandchildren, Joey, Savannah, Angelina, Monica, Elena, Jonathan, Michael, Jacob and Joshua; brothers, Marty and Mark; sisters, Kathy, Rosanna, Marilyn and Becky; several nieces and nephews; and his canine companion, Honey.

The family would like to express their thanks to the Neurosurgeon, Doctors and Nurses in the Neuro ICU at Ft. Sanders.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, April 8, 2022, at Atchley Funeral Home, Seymour. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, April 9, 2022, in Atchley's Seymour Chapel with Father Rafael and Deacon Patti Ortiz officiating. The Graveside Service will follow in Atchley's Seymour Memory Gardens, 122 Peacock Ct., Seymour, TN. Reception will follow at St. Paul Episcopal Church, 1028 Boyd's Creek Hwy, Seymour, TN.
