SULPHUR -- Services for Billy Ray VanHorn, 48, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Clagg Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Bill Leveridge and John Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Born Feb. 4, 1951, at Sulphur to Verbel and Nettie Bell Brown VanHorn, he died April 23, 1999, at Oklahoma City.
VanHorn grew up in Sulphur and attended Sulphur schools. He was married to Barbara Byron. VanHorn was a truck driver. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Melanie Park and Monica Carter, both Sulphur, and Debbie Stoker, Summerville, Ga.; one son, Billy Joe Don VanHorn, Sulphur; two brothers, Jerry Wayne VanHorn, High Ridge, Mo., and Virgil Albert VanHorn, Moore; four sisters, Sue Driskell, Wichita, Kan., Gloria Shepard, Pearland, Texas, Linda Givens and Dora Flowers, both Moore; and six grandchildren.
Bearers are Randall Batterton, Wayne Blackburn, Ronald Rankin and Robert Mink.
