Lamar Robert Morris, 19, of Mechanicsville, passed away January 1, 2007.

He was the beloved son of Preston Oscar and Marjorie Louise Morris. He was born May 29, 1987 in Salem, N.J.

Along with his parents, he leaves to cherish his memory, his three brothers, Jonathan, Brandon and Jorel; his loving grandmother, Elaine Morris of Fairton, N.J.; as well as many, many devoted aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

Lamar's smile would light up the world, and his contagious zeal for life will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2007 at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Road. Friends were received from noon until 2 p.m. the day of the service. Interment followed at Hanover Memorial Park. The family expressed with grateful hearts the many acts of kindness and expressions of sympathy shared during that very sad time.
