"One of the County's oldest residents died at home near Yellowstone. Aunt Patsy Murphy, one of the county's oldest residents, who is said to have been up in the 90's though her exact age could not be learned, died Thursday afternoon at her home in the Yellowstone neighborhood. She is survived by several children of whom Mrs. Jesse Turpin East of this city was one. Funeral services and burial occurred at Hickory Grove this afternoon."
Martha was the daughter of Joseph & Nancy (Hawkins) Ragsdale.
Martha was the wife of Benjamin Murphy.
After Benjamin's death she married Henry J. Fitzpatrick and then later divorced him.
