MR. VICTOR FRED ANDREWS, age 82, of Eastman, GA, died Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Serenity Place Hospice in Dublin, GA.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, April 2, at Bay Springs Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Plainfield, with Rev. Emory Howell officiating.
Victor was born and raised in Dodge County, a member and deacon of Bay Springs Freewill Baptist Church, and a 1958 graduate of Dodge County High School. He was a retired superintendent for Georgia Natural Gas for over 32 years and former owner and operator of Andrews Gas Company for over 10 years. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who was a hard worker and provider for his family and enjoyed spending time with his family. Victor was the son of the late Delta Bohannon Andrews and Fred Andrews and was preceded in death by his Wife of 56 years, Wilsene Cook Andrews, Grandson, Gus Harden, and 3 Siblings, Martha Parsons, Billy Andrews, and Irene Grimes.
He is survived by his Daughter – Barbara Harden (Mark) of Glenwood; 3 Sons – Jay Andrews (Tammy) of Patterson, GA, Scott Andrews (Tamra) of Cochran, and Sam Andrews (Katie) of Cadwell; 10 Grandchildren – Megan Sutton (Josh), Beth Mullis (Josh), Luke Andrews, Evan Andrews, Rebekah Andrews Adams (Nikki), Rachael Andrews, Ryan Andrews, Zach Andrews (Lauren), Seth Andrews, and Sara Andrews; 7 Great-Grandchildren – Breanna Durden, Brent Durden, Bryson Sutton, Laura Beth Mullis, Jaelynn Mullis, Blakely Mullis, and Samuel Z. "Tripp" Andrews, III; Several Nieces and Nephews.
