On September 26, 1970, he married the love of his life, Nancy. They raised two children, Heather and Josh, and made a home in Newport, NH, for over 40 years. Howdy enjoyed a good joke and loved spending time with his family, which was his most prized possession. Other hobbies he enjoyed were hunting, fishing, and spending time at camp.
Howard was predeceased by his parents, Everett Archibald and Roselba (Dubois) Miller; his sisters Marion Nelson and Dorothy Stammers; and his brother Everett Archibald. Survivors include his wife, children, grandson Colby, sisters Martha, Arba and Ann, and brother Arnie.
