Jean Stegall, daughter of the late Hubert Franks and Etta (Burks) Franks, was born June 30, 1935 in Savannah, Tennessee and departed this life on December 2, 2010 at the age of 75 years, 5 months and 2 days.
Jean married William Paul Stegall who preceded her in death on November 17, 1990.
Survivors include: Two daughters: Etta Gentry and her husband Alan of Southhaven, Mississippi; Ceila Goodman and her husband Tony of Kennett, Missouri; Four grandchildren: Michael Blake Goodman, Derek Paul Goodman,, Nathaniel Bruce Gentry and Matthew Alan Gentry; Great grandchildren: Logan
Michael Goodman and Kallie Brooke Goodman ; One brother: Joe Franks of Hayti, Missouri; and Other relatives and many friends.
Jean was preceded in death by three brothers: Herman, Bobby, and A. J. Franks and one sister: Emma Lee Buckley.
Visitation will be 10:00 AM Monday, December 6, 2010 at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday at St.Cecilia's Catholic Church in Kennett with Father Allan Saunders officiating.Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Pallbearers will be: Alan Gentry, Tony Goodman, Derek Goodman, Michael Blake Goodman, Larry Goodman, and Chad Howard.
