Sharon R. Andrae, 83 of Urbana passed away Sunday January 22, 2023 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born February 6, 1939, the daughter of Willard and Arvilla Robinson.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Stan Friese, children Donald Schierer and Linn (Randy) Simpson.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Dick Andrae, a brother and twin sisters.

Sharon attended Metamora High School. She and Dick started in the motorcycle business in the early 60's in Pekin. In 1965, the Andrae's moved to Urbana to open their Harley-Davidson dealership. They started in a small building on E. Main St before moving to the current location on N. Lincoln Ave. There is nothing she enjoyed more than getting on her motorcycle and going for a ride. Sharon was a founding member of Illini Chapter Harley Owners Group along with the American Motorcycle Cycle Association, Motor Maids, and ABATE. In 2003 Sharon was awarded the Illinois Small Business Person of the Year. Over the years, Sharon has helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Shriners Hospital for Children and MDA.

Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
