Born in Mahanoy City, she was the daughter of the late Andy and Mae T. (Coffman) Sabol.
Helen attended Mahanoy City High School.
She had been employed in the Shoe Department at Boscov's and was a Kindergarten Teachers Aide for students at N. Palm Beach Elementary School in Florida.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband: Clarence J. Capiga in 2015; her sisters: Dorothy Levy, Irene Brown, and Elizabeth Roos; and, her brothers: John, Joseph, Michael, and Andy Sabol.
She is survived by her daughters: Geraldine (Gordon) Barrett of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and Jan Dahlquist of Holland; her son: Clarence (Linda) Capiga of Shenandoah; her seven grandchildren; her nine great-grandchildren; her brother: Edward (Betty) Sabol; and, her nieces and nephews.
Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 09:00 AM.
