DeLano, Cora Ann MacDonald 3/18/1933 - 3/27/2022 Ann Arbor, Michigan Cora Ann (MacDonald) DeLano, 89, of Ypsilanti, Mi passed away Sunday at University Living, Ann Arbor. She was born March 18, 1933 in Ypsilanti, the daughter of Kenneth (Curly) MacDonald and Mary (Metevier) MacDonald. A lifelong resident of Ypsilanti, She graduated from Ypsilanti High School in 1951. She married her high school sweetheart Charles Richard (Dick) DeLano on May 16, 1953. She supported the family's plumbing and heating business and volunteered in the community while raising their 5 children. She was a devout Catholic and worked for several years at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ypsilanti. She was proceeded in death by her loving husband Dick, just 10 weeks earlier, her parents, sister Mary Alice (MacDonald) Beauton and brother Kenneth Macdonald. She will be forever missed by her children Diane (Chris) Fawcett of St. Louis, MO, Michael (Jill) DeLano of Denver, CO, Jeffrey (Nancy) DeLano of Ann Arbor, Kristine (Derek ) Hunt of Ypsilanti, and Mark (Kam) of Milan; 9 grandchildren Louise (Chris), Joshua (Megg), Stacey (Robbie), Caitlin (Aaron), Andrew (Nisha), Ashley, Eamon, Lauryn and Connor; and 8 great-grandchildren Maddison, Nevaeh, Abbie, Benjamin, Miranda, Vernon, Karter, and Emmett. A joint memorial will be held in September for both Dick and Cora as they are laid to rest at St. John Catholic Cemetary in Ypsilanti. Generations Funeral and Cremation Services of Ann Arbor.
