Nadine Ellett Farish, known to her family and friends as Deanie, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 24, 2017 after a long valiant fight against lung cancer. Her passions in life were lovingly taking care of her family, working in all age groups of her church's nursery ministry and singing in the church choirs. She did this while maintaining a lengthy working career in insurance, the local boy scout office and banking. She was preceded in death by her father and mother Richie and Effie Mullen Ellett and sisters Dorothy Taylor and Daisy Chatfield. She leaves her husband Andy Farish, sons Steve Crocker (wife Becky) and Hank Farish, daughters Melynda Bounds (husband Jon) and Christy Butler, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, her brother James Ellett, and many nieces and nephews. Deanie's final tribute services were a private burial, visitation 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. Wednesday July 26, 2017 for family and friends and a memorial celebration service at 11:00 A.M. at Clarksdale Baptist Church. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
