He was born July 19, 1919, in Metamora Township, Woodford County, to Philo and Sarah Kempf Fehr. His wife, La Vina, survives, who he married on June 3, 1945, in Goodfield.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Rick (Stephany G.) Welzien of Elgin; one son, Edward K. of Killeen, Texas; and three sisters, Grace Staub of Peoria, Mrs. Lloyd (Cynthia) Aeschleman of Roanoke and Mrs. Henry (Dorothy) Schorman of Morton.
He was a farmer in the Goodfield area. He was a custodian at Deer Creek School and worked at Harvestore in Eureka.
Burial will be in Congerville-Goodfield Apostolic Christian Cemetery in rural Congerville.
