Anthony Allen "AJ" Austin, 33, of Morgantown, passed away at his home unexpectedly Sunday, April 3rd, 2022.

AJ was born on December 13, 1988 in Morgantown, West Virginia to the late Ronald and Sandra Kay (Austin) Jones.

AJ was taken in and raised by his maternal grandparents, Allen Earl "Poppo" Austin and Lavena May "Natty" Shaffer, who showered him with love and affection and gave him a wonderful childhood.

He was a mechanic by trade and loved working on cars, trucks, semi-trucks, and anything automotive related. He was a good friend and would help you if he was able to.

He leaves behind a beloved daughter, Allison Austin, to whom he strived to try to be a better father for and had hoped to play a greater part in her life before his untimely death.

In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by a loving sister, Amy Christine Cox, and his beloved maternal grandparents Allen Earl "Poppo" Austin and Lavena May "Natty" Shaffer.

AJ's remains were cremated.
