She was a native of Burke County, daughter of the late William Sam and Fanny Elizabeth Huffman Bradshaw, wife of the late Roy Gay Stinnett Sr., mother of the late William Sam and Ronald Kenneth Stinnett, sister of the late Roy Everett and Bulah Ethel Bradshaw.

She was the owner of Kings Mountain Drive-In Theatre for 50 years, member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Connelly Springs.
