Ryan Fidelis Basgall, 37, of LaCrosse, Kansas died just after midnight at Rush County Memorial Hospital, La Crosse, Ks. on 9 April, 2022.
He was born on 4 March, 1985 in Great Bend, Kansas to Thomas L. Smallridge, Jr. and Angela R. Basgall. He was raised in La Crosse. He was baptized into the Catholic faith at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend, Kansas in 1985.
He is survived by his father, Tom of Kingston, Ohio, his mother, Angie, of La Crosse, his younger brother Jack, of El Dorado, Kansas and his favorite cat Timmie. He was preceded in death in 2004 by his younger brother Jesse of La Crosse.
Ryan was my oldest son and I love him with my all my heart.

Ryan F. Basgall, 37, La Crosse, Kansas, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Rush County Memorial Hospital, La Crosse, Kansas.
Ryan was born March 4, 1985, in Great Bend, Kansas, the son of Thomas L. Smallridge, Jr. and Angela R. Basgall.
Survivors include: his mother, Angela Basgall, La Crosse, Kansas; his father, Thomas Smallridge, Jr., Ohio; one brother, Jack L. Basgall, El Dorado, Kansas; two nephews, Aden Basgall, and Jesse Basgall; and one niece Bayley Basgall.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jesse T. Basgall.
Graveside service will be Friday, April 15, 2022, at 3:30 P.M. at the La Crosse City Cemetery, La Crosse, Kansas, with Pastor Mark Sizemore officiating. Interment will be in the La Crosse City Cemetery, La Crosse, Kansas.
Immediately following the graveside service, everyone is invited to the First Christian Church, La Crosse, Kansas, for a time of fellowship and sharing of memories.
As an eye donor, Ryan's caring nature continues.
