William Creyon Stuckey, Jr. was the son of Ida Blackman and William Creyon Stuckey, Sr.
Brother to Elizabeth Stuckey Sanders (1912-1987), James Benjamin Stuckey (1914-1915), Dorothy Stuckey Maddox (1918-1969), Helen Stuckey Seigel (1922-1983), and Sara Stuckey Collins.
William married Harriet Ann Miller on January 11, 1941 in Montgomery, Alabama. To this union two children were born, Harriet Ann Stuckey Owen and Elizabeth Stuckey Greathouse (1952-2009).
Mr. Stuckey was a 1927 graduate of Barnes School in Montgomery, Alabama. A veteran of WW II, having served in Europe in the 582nd Quartermaster Corps of the U.S. Army.
He retired from the Addressograph-Multigraph Corporation in 1975. He was an avid golfer and a charter member of the Capital City Golf Association. He was also an active participant in the Park Manor Retirement Community for thirteen years. His interests included painting, reading, Trivial Pursult, Texas Hold 'Em and Bingo.
Mr. Stuckey was a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church for over fifty years.
