She retired from Color Craft in Charlotte. Vivian enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and she loved to travel. She was MOM to her eight children and MawMaw to her grandchildren who were the joy of her life.
Vivian was preceded in passing by her husband, Clyde Barnes; two daughters, Norma Barnes and Darlene Lefler; son, Jerry Barnes and grandson, Timmy Helms.
Survivors include her daughters, Shirley B. Laney, Linda B. LaPorte and husband Bob, Dee B. Campbell, Patty B. Lawing and Kathy B. Mowers; 17 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
