She graduated from Burns Academy, Francis Marion University and attended the University of South Carolina. She was employed with Turner Padget Law Firm of Florence, SC for many years.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sarah Grace Benton; father, Bobby E. "Bill" Hendrix; aunts, Vonciel Holloman, Belva Prozzi, Betty Anderson; uncle, Dewey Tadlock; special cousin, Pam Sherrill; several other extended family members.
