Daughter of Willie L (Bill) and Lucille Williams Armour. After graduating from Collierville High School, she studie music at Kennesaw College now known as Kennesaw State University. She was a preschool music teacher until she retired. She continued to play for her Sunday School classes and for her family. She married Robin E. Rainey in 1959. They had three children: Renee, Thomas, and Ann. She had four grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Robin E Rainey; and siblings, Joe Weideman Armour, Robert Lynn Armour, Billy Farris Armour, and Ann Clair Armour Richmond.
