Mrs. Cartillar was born September 22, 1940, in Wynne, and was the daughter of Verner Hankins and Dorothy Rhoderick Hankins. She lived in Illinois before moving to St. Francis County, was a housewife, and a member of the Madison Baptist Church.
Mrs. Cartillar married Wayne Cartillar in 1983, and he preceded her in death in 2019. She is survived by two daughters; Robin Colvin, and husband, Dennis, of Forrest City, and Darlene Jumper, and husband, Dudley, of Palestine, five grandchildren; Scott Martin, Brian Martin, Johnathan Colvin, Mary Dudley Gilbreath, and Jacob Jumper, and four great-grandchildren. She had one grandchild, J. R. Colvin, who preceded her in death.
Services will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 3:00 P.M., Friday, with burial in Bell Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, 2:00 P.M., until the time of the service. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
