Mrs. Ida Lobaugh, 71, of 527 Franklin St. , Freeport , died yesterday afternoon (July 6, 1960) in Allegheny Valley Hospital , Tarentum. She had been ill for the past year.
Mrs. Lobaugh was born Oct. 30, 1888, in Rimersburg, a daughter of Clarence and Jennie (Henry)
McAninch. She had lived in the Freeport area for the past 42 years and prior to that had made her home in Rimersburg.
She was a member of the Freeport Methodist Church and the Personal Workers Class of that church. She was also a member of the Allegheny Valley Gold Star Mothers, American Legion Auxiliary of Freeport , Civic Club of Freeport , and the Women's Society of Christian Service of the Methodist Church.
She was the widow of Harry R. Lobaugh, who died in 1939. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Carl (Mildred) Elder, Mrs. James ( Nancy ) Babinsack, Mrs. Addison (Martha) Brant, all of Freeport , Mrs. Raymond (Dorothy) Harshberger of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. Jerry (Mary Lou) Turpin of Atchison, Kansas; two sons, Charles of Hickman Mills, Mo., and Harry of Cleveland, Ohio; 31 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Groppi of Freeport.
Friends will be received at the Walters-Fullerton funeral home, 324 Fourth St. , Freeport , after 7 this evening. Services will be held at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Samuel Ford officiating. Burial will be made in Rimersburg cemetery.
