Married Vincent Allison Brown Dec. 26th, 1938 in Long Beach, CA. Was in Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7th, 1941 when Japan attacked.
No children born to the marriage and Aunt Betty died in MA and is buried at Vilcomir (aka Wilcomere) Cemetery, Melrose, MA.
I have photographs of her. She is remembered by her family.
Aunt Betty's history lives on and I share the stories I was told as a child with my family. I have photos of her with Madge Louise Brown, her mother-in-law, taken in Long Beach, CA and the one of her on this site, much younger with Vincent and his mother, Madge Louise (Tainter) Brown.
Aunt Betty was a nurse during WWII and her husband a Chief Warrant Officer. They returned to Boston prior to her death, but they lived in Hawaii and CA prior to WWII.
See 1920 Census for parents, sisters Sarah, Helena, Mildred.
