Uncle Clark had a broad smile, a deep baritone voice and an infectious laugh. I remember him living with Grandma in Hereford after Grandpa passed away. When we would visit, they would stay up til all hours of the night playing cards and having fun.
He served in the US Army during WWII, and met up with Uncle GH somewhere in France. My Mother, Mary Sue Whitaker Prewitt had a picture of them together. I remember being so sad when we heard about his death, and we drove up to Hereford to be with the family. I had only ever been to one other funeral, that of my Daddy's mother.
