Thomas was born the son of the late William and Isabelle Gardner and has resided in the Flint area most of his life. Tom was a graduate of Kearsley High School Class of 1971. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed all types of sports and had played baseball and softball for many years. He was a member of Davison FOE #3589. Tom had been employed by Kay Automotive for over twenty five years retiring in 2016
He is preceded in death by his wife Ann Gardner in 2005.
