He was born Oct. 4, 1908 in Pickaway County to John B. and Lida Dodd Albright. On Nov. 6, 1950 he married the former Regina Rieder, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Philip (Mary Margaret) Fletcher, Columbus; sons, John Albright, Chillicothe, and Captain Joseph Albright, stationed with the United States Army in West Germany; granddaughters, Terrina, Andrea, and Kathryn Albright; grandsons, Jason Albright, Michael Fletcher, and Matthew Fletcher; sisters, Miss Myrtle Albright and Mrs. Everett (Mary) Whaley, both of Chillicothe, Mrs. Roy (Margery) Geesling and Mrs. Alex (Marie) Geesling, both of Washington Court House; and brother, Glen Albright, Chillicothe.
He was predeceased by a sister, Mrs. Laura Graves; and a grandson, John Albright.
Mr. Albright was a member of St. Peter Church. He retired in 1972 as a garage foreman at the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
He served in the 36th Naval Construction Battalion (Seabees) in World War II. He was a life member of American Legion Post 757, Disabled American Veterans, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 600.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Catholic Church, with the Reverend Charles P. Essman officiating. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery, where there will be a military graveside service.
Calling hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Haller Funeral Home, with a wake service at 7:30 p.m.
