John George Andrekopoulos

Born to life on March 16, 1959.
Entered Eternal Life unexpectedly on April 22, 2022, at the age of 63.
Devoted and loving father of Amanda (Nick) Wichser, George (Alanta), Nick, Anthony, and Kenny Andrekopoulos.
Cherished Papou of 7 grandchildren: Wyatt, Nolan, Alivia, Mia Wichser and Arianna, Luna, Braelyn Andrekopoulos.
Dearest brother to William (Ginny), Vivian Andrekopoulos, and Corinne (Milan) Medved.
Loving godson to Nick Karegeannes. John is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other dear friends.

John was born in Milwaukee, and was the youngest child of George and Irene (nee Cavadeas) Andrekopoulos whom preceded him in death. John attended James Madison High School in Milwaukee and graduated in 1977. He was influential in helping his football team win the city conference championship. John was a lifelong Packer fan who held season tickets his whole life. On game days, he would regularly call his family members and godfather to discuss the team. Growing up with Greek parents John developed a deep appreciation of his Greek heritage. He fulfilled a lifelong dream of vacationing in Greece. Cooking ethnic food for his family was something he also enjoyed.

John worked in the car industry for many years in both Milwaukee and Green Bay. His outgoing personality and knowledge of cars helped make this a career he loved.

John loved his children more than anything. He lived with his four boys in Crivitz, Wisconsin for the past 12 years until his untimely passing. His children will always cherish his endless stories and caring advice. He was so proud to be a grandpa to 7 grandchildren including two sets of twin girls. He will forever be remembered for his sense of humor and willingness to help anyone no matter how busy he was.

A Celebration of Life in memory of John, will be held on Saturday, May 21, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 380 Bluemound Rd., Waukesha, from 1-2:45 PM, followed by the Memorial Service at 3 PM.
