She was born in Oklahoma, Indian Territory, to Tol and Stella (Argenbright) Branom. She graduated from Haileyville High School in 1924. She was a school teacher in Haileyville and this area for many years and taught the last few years of her career in Colorado. She was a resident of Haileyville and passed away at the McAlester hospital at the age of 98. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; one brother; a niece and a nephew.
