Their first child was named Clarence Bazil, and he passed away the same day he was born in 1895, Their children were Harland Fredrick born in 1897,followed by Hilda Alberta in 1903, Audrey Madeline in 1905, John Edward (Buss)in 1908, Mary Grace in 1912 and James Harold in 1916. In 1921 James and Amanda separated and divorced again. Neither of them remarried. James passed away in in Caldwell, Idaho in 1939 at the age of 66.
