COPPER - Hildred Lois Ainsworth Shaw, 83, of Klondike, died Sunday in a Paris hospital. Funeral services are at 2:30 p.m. today at Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Strickland of Commerce and Jimmy Rose of Greenville officiating. Burial is in Shiloh Cemetery.

Mrs. Shaw was born in Yowell on Sept. 9, 1916, the daughter of Lee Ray Alexander and Mary Pearl Rainey Alexander. She married Archie Marion Ainsworth who preceded her in death in 1986. She later married Edgar P. "Bill" Shaw who preceded her in death in 1994.

Mrs. Shaw was a retired custodian at Texas A&M University-Commerce.

Surviving are a son Marion Ainsworth of Cooper; a step-son Clifford Shaw of Mendicino, CA; a daughter Kay Moore of Commerce; a daughter Kathy Shaffer of Klondike; a sister, Nadella Ainsworth Hooten of Commerce; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 16 brothers and sisters.
