A. Robert Mulder, 85, of Firth, went to be with his Heavenly Father on April, 20, 2012. He was born on November 21, 1926 to Peter and Jennie Mulder on a farm near Firth. He enjoyed traveling and won numerous awards for his Swedish weaving. He also loved listening to gospel music. He served in the Armed Forces at the end of World War II, and farmed near Firth for 11 years. He worked 24 years as a meat cutter and finished his working career with the Lancaster County. Following retirement he spent winters in Texas and Arizona. He was a member of the Firth Reformed Church where he served as a Deacon.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy (Huenink) Mulder; three children, Russell (Aurora) Mulder, Paula (Russ) Trook, Clark (Charlotte) Mulder; four grandchildren, Heather, Chasidey, Peter, and Chandler; two great-grandchildren, Eleanor, and Jonah; and numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Guy Mulder; his parents; one brother; and seven sisters.

Family will greet friends from 4-6 p.m., Sunday, April 22, 2012. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th Street, Lincoln, NE 68512. Memorial Service, 2 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2012, at Firth Reformed Church, 603 Russell Street, Firth, NE 68358. There is no public viewing. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Firth Reformed Church and Lakeview Care Center in Firth, NE. Condolences may be left at lincolnfh.com.
