Ira I. Wilson Dies At Warren, Ohio

Ira I. Wilson, aged 76 years, Warren, O., died Thursday at the Green Cross hospital, Warren, after a two months' illness. A resident of Warren for the past 22 years, he had lived in New Castle and Ellwood City prior to that time.

Born January 28, 1875, in Butler county, he was a son of Lauder and Mary McElwain Wilson. His B. S. degree was received in 1896 from Prospect academy, Butler county. For many years Mr. Wilson taught music in the Ellwood City schools.

He built and patented a house-washing machine, operating such a machine for the past 19 years. Mr. Wilson was a charter member of Bethel Baptist church, Warren.

Survivors are: his widow, the former Ida Mae Weigle, to whom he was married on April 18, 1899; four children, Rev. Orville Wilson, Lebanon, Tenn., Mrs. Ralph Annabelle, near Warren, Mrs. Thurman Blake, New Wilmington, and Mrs. John Wilkinson, Warren; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Two brothers, Rev. Robert Wilson, Westerville, O., and Professor Cecil Wilson, Brookville, Pa., also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p. m. from the Carl W. Hall funeral home, Warren, O., where friends may call Saturday from 7 to 9 p. m. Burial will take place in Pine View (sic) cemetery, Warren.
