Lola met and married William James Maxwell on January 12, 1953, in Ogden, Utah. Together they had five children: David, Terry, Kathy, Teresa, and Susan. In 2018, Lola became a widow, when William passed away.
Lola was skilled in quilting, sewing baby blankets, and crocheting. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Primary and the Relief Society.
Lola was preceded in death by her husband, William James Maxwell; daughter, Kathy Maxwell; parents, Amie and Leora Delcomte; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers.
Lola is survived by her two sons, David (Nancy) Maxwell, and Terry Maxwell; two daughters, Teresa (Jim) Thompson, and Susan (Barry) Gunning; brother, Andy Dean Delcomte; sister, Helen (Buzz) Olenslager; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton (1867 N. Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah 84041).
