Funeral services for the late Mrs. Minnie Sue Coleman were held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 12:00 noon from Oak Grove Baptist Church, Alberta, Alabama. Rev. C. L. Daniels, officiated. Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery. Hudson Funeral Services, Camden, Alabama directed. Mrs. Minnie S. Coleman was born October 11, 1926 in Alberta Alabama to the late Willie and Minder Coleman.
Mrs. Minnie S. Coleman quilted the Pig in Pen which were one of the ten quilts honoring Gee's Ben Quilts one the first day of June 2006 by United State Postal Service. She departed this life on January 03, 2012 at 11:30 p.m. in Birmingham, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cawthorne Coleman, (2) sisters, (1) brother and a grandchild.
