Brett was born on July 30, 1962, in Des Moines, Iowa.

Brett was a dedicated employee of Marsden Building Maintenance.

In his free time, he could be found playing darts or enjoying a classic western movie. Anyone who knew Brett, knew how much he loved and appreciated a red Ford truck. Brett was a sports enthusiast, he loved watching NFL football and was a Dallas Cowboys fanatic!

Brett was preceded in death by his parents Wesley Siglin and Mary Jo Thomas, and his brother Joseph Thomas.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, with burial to follow at 3 p.m., at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati, Iowa
