Rex Chiasson "Uncle Rex", age 63, of Gulfport, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, in Gulfport, MS.

He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Donna Chiasson of Gulfport; two children, Christopher Blake Chiasson of Gulfport, and Angelle Stinnett (Patrick) of Gulfport; four grandchildren, Leilani and Waylen McNorton and Wyatt and Wayde Chiasson; two sisters, Geraldine Bordelon and Jacqueline Albarado; two brothers, Kenneth Chiasson and John Roy Chiasson, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, and one brother, Patrick Chiasson.

His hobbies included fishing, cooking, and hunting. He also loved rebuilding classic cars.

The family will be receiving friends from 3:00 - 4:30 PM on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 4:30 PM, with a funeral service directly following in the chapel.
